ScienceNV were a prog-rock band which released 5 albums from 2004-2018. On several we did interpretations of popular concert pieces. Typically we’d do a strict reduction for the first few minutes, then work in a deviation, then back for the finale. Here, David Graves, good friend, composer, and keyboardist wrote the Brubeck-esque deviation and I scored out the rest from the low timpani onwards.

Pacific Circumstances

In Danse I played mostly keyboards (my guitar contribution is earlier in the piece), and mostly those with more traditional sounds – Moog synth (as in the improv section, trading with Larry Davis, our guitarist), Hammond organ and the like. See Mars for more
